Brand new, high-quality, hand-made replacement pickguard for 17" wide Gibson L-5C cut-away acoustic arch top guitars (8 inches along the straight side version). TruVintage replacement pickguards very accurately reproduce the look of a factory original Gibson pickguard. They are made from 100% real celluloid tortoise shell with a rigid semi-translucent acrylic backing, which allows more light to show through the celluloid, and for added strength and stability. It has a special 5-ply asymmetrical aged binding around the edges (extra thick outer black layer).. Hand-buffed glossy finish. Comes with factory spec reinforcing strip on the back. Dimensions: 8" along the straight side, 8 3/8" x 4" overall.

Note: Holes for mounting are not drilled in pickguard because the exact hole location may vary from guitar to guitar and model to model.
