Gibson J-200 post-war 1950s engraved pickguard celluloid tortoise shell
New custom-made pickguard for a Gibson J-200 made after WWII. It’s made from .05” thick 100% real celluloid tortoise shell, which is the same material Gibson used on almost of their high-end guitars. The original design is engraved and hand-painted in a classic 2-color scheme of off-white and pale yellow. It is a faithful recreation of the original pickguard design and has a vintage aged look. Glossy finish including polished 60 degree beveled edges (except the edge against the fingerboard). 4 1/8” diameter sound hole cutout. Also comes with 3M adhesive transfer tape backing, so all you have to do is peel and stick it on your guitar. This is a one-off custom pickguard that you will not find anywhere.
