Gibson F-5 mandolin pickguard kit tortoise shell 3-ply binding 50s-70s

Brand new hand-made replacement pickguard kit for a Gibson F-5 mandolin. Starting in the 1950s, Gibson went to a slightly smaller and more pointy-shaped F-5 pickguard design. They used this design up until the late 1970s. For all F-5s made from 1923 to WWII, see my other auction. This pickguard will also fit most F-5 copies like Collings, Weber, Kentucky, Loar, Eastman, etc. This is made from solid tortoise shell material with 3-ply white/black/white binding around the edges. High gloss finish. Complete kit comes with pickguard, pre-attached fingerboard mounting pins and support bracket. Also comes with complete installation instructions. All you will need is a small hammer, nail set or countersink, awl, small wrench and super glue. Pickguard shown on a F-5G is just for reference only.

If you need a left-handed version of this pickguard, you can simply purchase the one listed and "Add Note To Seller" indicating that you want a lefty. There's no additional charge but please allow an additional 3-4 days lead time.
