This is a new custom-made reproduction pickguard for a 1960s-era Gibson Dove dreadnaught flat-top acoustic guitar. It is made from high-quality 3/32” thick 100% real celluloid tortoise shell material. The entire iconic Dove design is engraved and hand-painted in a 6-color motif with shaded leaves and inlaid white pearl Dove with etched feathers.  High gloss finish including polished 60 degree beveled edges. Also comes with 3M adhesive transfer tape backing, so all you have to do is peel and stick it on your guitar. There are many after-market Dove pickguards available but they are either a printed pattern or a decal.
